Standards of conduct for Elite Rides drivers to keep the platform safe, respectful, and reliable.
1. Purpose
These Community Guidelines (DRAFT — attorney review required) explain how Elite Rides expects drivers to behave toward passengers, the public, and the platform. Violations may lead to warnings, temporary suspension, or deactivation under the Deactivation Policy.
2. Safety First
• Follow all traffic laws and never drive under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or impairing substances • Do not use the phone in a way that distracts from safe driving • Keep your vehicle reasonably clean, well-maintained, and free of hazards • Report serious safety incidents to Elite Rides support and emergency services when appropriate • Do not carry unauthorized weapons in violation of law or Elite Rides rules
3. Respect and Non-Discrimination
• Treat every passenger with courtesy • Do not harass, threaten, or discriminate based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, or other protected characteristics • Do not solicit personal relationships, tips beyond normal courtesy, or private off-platform payments in a coercive way • Respect passenger privacy; do not share trip details publicly
4. Honesty and Integrity
• Provide accurate profile, document, and vehicle information • Do not create fake accounts, share accounts, or help others evade checks • Do not manipulate GPS, trip status, fares, or ratings • Do not use unofficial apps or bypass App Check / security controls • Complete identity verification truthfully (selfies must be of you)
5. Service Quality
• Accept trips you can complete; repeated unjustified cancellations may lead to review • Navigate to pickup and destination efficiently using the app's maps tools • Communicate professionally through approved channels when needed • Do not make unauthorized stops or involve third parties in the vehicle without a legitimate reason and passenger comfort
6. Prohibited Conduct
Examples of prohibited conduct include fraud, assault, sexual misconduct, theft, hate speech, retaliation against passengers for ratings, transporting illegal goods, and any criminal activity while using the Services.
7. Enforcement
Elite Rides may investigate reports using trip data, location history, documents, and communications metadata. Outcomes may include education, temporary suspension, or permanent deactivation. You may appeal eligible decisions under the Appeal Policy.
