How to request deletion of your Elite Rides Driver account and what happens to your data.
1. Overview
This Account Deletion Policy (DRAFT — attorney review required) describes how drivers can delete or request deletion of an Elite Rides Driver account and what retention limitations apply. We do not claim that deletion is always immediate or that every backup copy is erased instantly.
2. How to Delete Your Account
In-app (preferred): 1. Open Settings in the Elite Rides Driver app 2. Choose Delete account 3. Re-authenticate with your password when prompted (Firebase Auth requires recent login) 4. Confirm deletion By email: Email privacy@eliteprivaterides.com or support@eliteprivaterides.com from your account email with subject "Delete Driver Account." Website: Visit https://eliteprivaterides.com and use published support/privacy contact methods when available.
3. What Deletion Covers
When deletion proceeds, we take steps to delete or de-identify personal data associated with your account from active production systems, including profile data in Firestore and auth credentials in Firebase Authentication, subject to the exceptions below. Files in Cloud Storage (documents, selfies) are removed or orphaned for deletion according to our storage lifecycle and security rules, which may not be instantaneous.
4. What We May Retain
We may retain certain information as allowed or required by law, including: • Trip, fare, and tax-relevant records • Safety, fraud, and abuse investigation records • Suspension/appeal records needed for integrity • Security logs, App Check, and Crashlytics operational data for limited periods • Backup copies until backup retention windows expire (for example scheduled export retention) • Information needed to resolve disputes or enforce agreements Retention periods are summarized in the Data Retention Schedule.
5. Timing
Auth deletion and active profile removal may complete relatively quickly after verification. Full purge across backups, logs, and provider systems can take additional time. We will not represent that deletion is immediate and permanent across all systems.
6. Effects of Deletion
• You lose access to the Driver app features tied to that account • You may need to re-apply as a new driver if you return later; prior approvals are not guaranteed • Pending payouts (when Stripe Connect is enabled) may need to be settled or addressed before or after deletion per financial rules
